Welcome to HobHollow.com |
|
A note about how we got our name…. Our dear friends Jim and Steph apparently had been referring to our land as “Hob Hollow” for some time before we ever even heard the name!! They casually mentioned hob hollow one day in passing and we loved it!! Thanks Jim and Steph! It is only fitting that you two would name our place after all the love and sweat you’ve poured onto our land!!! |

Our sweet little cabin (Built by our little village of wonderful friends!) |

This website is for our friends and family. We’d love for you to be informed of our progress! |

We have a beautiful piece of property in rural Vinton County. In the fall of 2006 many wonderful friends helped us build a little cabin. We’ve had countless “work parties” with so many friends pitching in to make our country home so fabulous! We have fires and music jams and campouts and a whole lotta fun!! This year we are preparing for our REALLY BIG project: Building our house!! We are planning to build an “Eco-friendly Earth-sheltered home”. We have been planning and designing our home and NOW the building has begun!!!!. Check out the page (photos from Earthshelter) to see what’s happening now. |
